Integrating Facebook and Instagram with Quicktext allows businesses to manage messaging directly from the Quicktext platform. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to connect both Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts, as well as troubleshooting tips and best practices.

 

 


Connecting a Facebook Page to Quicktext

To enable Facebook messaging through Quicktext, your Facebook Page must be linked to the platform with the correct administrative permissions. Follow these steps to complete the connection:

 

Prerequisites


Connection Steps

  1. Log in to your Quicktext account and navigate to Q-Hub Channels Integrations.
  2. Click on Messenger Card, then click Setup.
  3. Log in to your Facebook account which link to your Meta Business Suite.


  4. Select the following options:
    • Opt in to all current and future Pages. Click Continue.

     
    • Opt in to all current and future Businesses. Click Continue.
     
    • Opt in to all current and future Instagram accounts. Click Continue.

     
    • Click Save.
  5. On the right panel, select your establishment and connect.

Connecting an Instagram Account to Quicktext

To enable Instagram messaging, the Instagram account must be a Professional Account (Business or Creator) and linked to a Facebook Page. Follow these steps to complete the setup:

Prerequisites

  • Switch to a professional account if not already done.

  • Enable message access in Instagram settings on the mobile version:
    1. Open Instagram and go to Settings > Privacy > Messages.
    2. Find Connected Tools and enable Allow access to messages.

  • Link the Instagram account to a Facebook Page via Meta Business Suite.

 

Connection Steps

  1. Log in to your Quicktext account and navigate to Q-Hub Channels Integrations.
  2. Choose Instagram as the channel to connect.
  3. Log in to your Facebook account which is link to your Meta Business Suite.
  4. Select the following options:
    • Opt in to all current and future Pages. Click Continue.
    • Opt in to all current and future Businesses. Click Continue.
    • Opt in to all current and future Instagram accounts. Click Continue.
    • Click Save.
  5. On the right panel, select your establishment and connect. You will notice that the name that is appearing is related to your Facebook page associated with your Instagram account

  • Permission Issues: Ensure you have the necessary admin or business access rights.
