To connect your hotel's Facebook page to Quicktext Dashboard, you need to have the following prerequisites:
- Enable Messaging on your Facebook page.
- Disable automated replies on your Facebook page.
- An admin access to the hotel's Facebook page that has full control of the page ( not community manager access ).
To check the access that you have follow the following steps:
- Login to the Facebook profile that has admin access of your hotel's Facebook page.
- Switch to the hotel page.
- Once switched to the hotel's Facebook page you'll find a button " manage ", click on it.
- Then, on the menu on the left side, look for page access and click on it.
- Now you'll find the profiles that have access to the Facebook page, the admin access should have the following: Page Deletion, Permissions, Content, Messages and calls, Community Activity, Ads, and Insights.
After checking your access, From Quicktext Dashboard, go to settings, then Channels on the menu on the left.
- Go to messenger and click setup.
- A pop-up will appear, put your login and password and click on continue.
_ Click on the blue button " continue as XXXX"
- choose " opt in to current pages only", click on the square next to the hotel name, and click on continue.
- Save.
- Connect.
- Go to Velma on the menu on the left.
- Activate Messenger.
- Finally, click on Update settings ( The blue button on the top right )
