How to connect Zendesk messaging

This article details the steps to integrate Zendesk messaging with Quicktext

Zendesk is a popular task management tool used by various types of businesses including hotels.

As far as Quicktext is concerned there two types of integrations with Zendesk:

A- Ticketing

B- Messaging

This article will cover the procedure to integrate Zendesk Messaging into Quicktext.

 

A/ On Zendesk Interface:

Go to admin center and create a conversation integration

1-/Make sure to use the webhook : https://zendesk-api.quicktext.im/zendesk/webhook

2-/  Proceed to create the API key

3-/ While creating the API key make sure to save the secret key

Once the the conversation integration and the API key created all tokens axept for the scret key should show on Zendesk

4-/ Add a client

Make sure to use https://app.quicktext.im as token URL

Use Quicktext23* as Client secret

B- On Quicktext Dashboard:

Go to settings==> Channels on the left ahbd side menu==> Scroll down until you find Zendesk logo and click on setup

1/ Use your access email in the field email

2/ Use the root domain in the Zendesk URL as subdomain

3/ Use your access password in the field "password"

3/ Use the tokens generated follwing the creation of the of the conversation integration
