This article describes the steps to purchase a US SMS number in the wake of the new regulations in the US(Reserved only for holders of Twilio access)
A/ Prerequisite:
The client must provide the below documents
Legal company name
DBA
EIN
Main phone
Mailing address:

B/On Quicktext dashboard
Go to channels select United States from the drop-down menu and select the number
C/ On Twilio Console:
Once selected on Quicktext dashboard the number will be assigned automatically to a subaccount on Twilio
Based on the new regulation in force in the US every phone number must be registered to A2P
1/ Go to the subaccount
2/ Go to messaging==> Regulatory Compliance open onboarding to start the registration process
3/ Select the option "yes" if the hotel is registred in the US or Canada
4/ Select "yes" and click on continue
5/ Enter the EIN
6/ Fill out the 1rst form
7/ Fill out the Address form
8/ Add the information of the legal representative
9/ Tick the box and submit the brand for review:
9/ Select the company type, and the SMS volume and tick the consent box
10/ Wait for the brand registration(Could take a few minutes)
11/ Once the brand is registered click on continue
C/ Campaign Registration:
Fill out the form of the campaign registration:
1/ Provide a campaign description:
This campaign is intended to facilitate communication between the hotel and its guests. It will purely serve informative purposes through SMS
2/ Sample Message 1:

We are glad to inform you that your room will be ready at 2 PM. You can check in online on our website if you wish to have contactless check-in
3/ Sample message2:
You can text us or call us at +125698745 if you wish the check your reservation status
3/ How do end-users consent to receive messages? (40-2048 characters)
Example: While booking their rooms on the website the users would have to fill out a form that included a field dedicated to the phone number. At the bottom of the form they have to tick the general terms and conditions consent box
4/ Opt-in Keywords
Example: read,, accepted,general, conditions
5/Opt-in Message:
Example: I have read and accept the general conditions (*)(Hyperlink)
6/ Click on create
Now the campaign is under review
P.S: The A2P campaign can take up to 3 weeks to be verified.
To check the campaign registration status go to Messaging==> Regulatory compliace==> Campaigns
7/ Add the purchased SMS number to the messaging service senders pool
