  1. Locate a Successful Widget Conversation
    • Search for at least one customer chat where the customer clicked the Quicktext link and entered our widget.

To know if the client has access to the Quicktext widget or not, we need to find the conditions below in the conversation :

  • In the conversation, the first message is the customer's question asked in the B.com widget with the redirection message
  • Velma collected user details (name, phone(if enabled in Q-hub live chat), email( if enabled in Q Hub Live chat )).
  • Velma answered the customer’s question with the right dialog
  • Conversion includes both logos, those of Live chat+B.com
    • Note that: Conversation bubbles for both user and Velma appear green, indicating successful handoff into the widget (see photo below)

  1. Evaluate Findings :
    • If the number of conversation (where the customer clicked the Quicktext link and entered our widget) ≥ 1  through B.com :
      • Conclusion: Link is properly authorized and live traffic is reaching the widget.
      • Action: No further action required; monitor as usual.

  • If the number of conversation (where the customer clicked the Quicktext link and entered our widget) is 0 through B.com over the target period:
    • Conclusion: Despite hotelier confirmation, the links habe not been authorized
    • Next Steps:
      1. Perform a Real Reservation Test
        1. Make a test booking on Booking.com for that hotel.
        2. Click the Quicktext link in the confirmation flow to see if you can access the widget.
        3. Interpret Test Results:
          • Access Successful + No Customer Chats:
            • Traffic may be zero; link works. No issue.
          • Access Fails:
            • Link is not authorized( Not cliquable/ you can’t access to Quicktext widget) .
            • Action : Contact the hotelier to re-submit or correct the Booking.com authorization.

P.S: If the conditions above are not satisfied 2 days after the intgration, the account manager must make a reservation on booking.com and verify if the wdiget redirection works.
